One-Way Meter Unit
This unit, named RTU, is a one-way unit, reading and transmitting data
over the power lines (PLC).
RTU - Remote Transmitter Unit.
The RTU is installed at consumers' premises, inside or
outside the existing meter, electromechanical, static (electronic),
single & Polly phase. The unit counts the meter's disc revolutions,
transforming it into power consumption. It transmits accumulated consumption
data, along with additional data, to the central unit - the concentrator
- via the Power Lines.
