Microterminal

The Collectric™ system includes a hand-held portable compact terminal named Microterminal.
The Microterminal is used as a manual link between the utility Central Computer on one hand and the Concentrator and the terminal units on consumer site, on the other.
The Microterminal, with the appropriate Collectric™ software, can accomplish almost all Central Computer operations. It can be replaced by a portable computer.

  • Note: Data transfer can also be performed directly, either via phone modem over the public telephone network, or via other communications means.

The Microterminal is an important tool
for Collectric™ maintenance.

The Microterminal,
by means of suitable supplied adaptors or cables:

  • Optically communicates with remote units and concentrators.
  • Programs remote units' initial parameters.
  • Downloads software and data to the concentrators.
  • Reads reports from concentrators.
  • Reads remote units' status.
